I’m Betsy Valu Rohney (yes, two last names) and I was born and raised in the Bay Area in California.
I'm a User Experience (UX) Researcher working in various "people-centered" roles for nearly a decade. Many years ago, I was a tiki bar waitress selling flaming cocktails, now I ask people questions for a living.
I've spoken to people about nearly everything: from smart vibrators, to language and identity, and most recently, understanding how people file their taxes.
My research style combines various methods, diving deep into qualitative interviews complemented by quantitative analysis. This way, I create insightful, actionable findings that enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes.
I love all things ube and birthday cake flavored. You can find me traveling to the South Pacific (most likely visiting Tonga to see my family) or learning a new language.
